been really busy for past few months... but since its semester holiday.. more updates will be post and i really need volunturs to help me manage this blog...anyone?

male flyer

Male flyer? What do you mean by a male flyer? In AVES? How can it be? Who is flying and who is the base?

Flyer : Wern Sern - (more than 65 kg)
Base : Janet and Christine -(50 ++ kg)
Spotter: Leonard -(50++ kg)

WHAT........! Wern Sern is flying? Yup.. its true.. and two girls basing him for the first time... Three of them got this crazy idea where Wern Sern will go up on a elevator position, then extension. During extension position, he will jump and do a front tuck and land on his foot. So.., they went to give it a try on Wednesday during gymnastic class. ( crazy cheerleaders)

On Wednesday.. history in AVES. A male flyer with two female base. Of course with a little help from Alice and Yve Von and also under supervision of the team's gymnast coach, Mr. Hong there comes all the bravery and courage.. GO.. AVES... go crazy team...

On count.. 5,6,7,8.. 1,2,3 - werb Sern was on a position of reload. then to elevator.. since he wasn't a very good flyer.. he fell from elevator.. ( mistake - wern sern pls lock yourself properly). Then there goes the second tryout.. Yay... succeed in stabilized on elevator position. then time for extension. 1,2, dip..... no.....!! Wern sern.. 'do not kick your base.!'.. down he fell on the mattress.. (lucky has mattress.. imagine if he hits his head on the ground ... ) okay.. lets try for the third time.. yes.. from reload, to elevator, then to extension... then yes.. he did it.. Wern sern did a front tuck on air... really high on air.. with two female base...

Then all of them felt that they can do better and toss higher.. S,o they tried again and again and again... so excited.. but to tell the truth.. pity the two base... carrying someone much heavier than them... wern sern.. you better treat Janet and Christine nicely.

HIstory :Aves very first tryout of stunts of a male flyer version was on Wednesday, BB Gym, 8.30pm, 22nd of April 2009

B + a + h + a + y + a = BAHA stunts. ( left out the 'ya' word) a.k.a dangerous

Today's practice was really DANGEROUS. Our beloved president a.k.a our flyer fell straight on the floor with her head kissing the floor.. lets see..

janet - flyer
wern sern - supporter
christine - base
eng kiat - base

location - inner lobby, SEGi college Subang Jaya.

First Janet was on a position of a reload ( like elevator reload). Then Janet's hands was holding Wern Sern's hand. Wern Sern was standing behind Janet ( his position). Then Janet will be on the position of half standing on Christine's and Eng Kiat's hand( Christine on the left side, Eng Kiat on the right side). Both Christine and Eng Kiat will had to toss Janet high up where high enough for Janet to do a front roll on air and land with a cradle position. Unfortunately.. somewhere and someplace went wrongly during the tossing part. Janet wasn't fully rolled on air and she fell straight on the ground with her head touching the floor first. everything was so fast.. and the next thing was everyone in the counseling area was looking at us..

AVES center of attention... there goes our popularity...

then... the base carried her up.. Janet was standing.. moved around with silence... then okay.. do it again... wow... 5,6,7,8.. and this time it went fluently.. everything went smoothly.. including after cradle position, straight popped up to reload position and straight to elevator... The process continues a few times.

Resting time.. Janet started to talk and she was more noisier than usual.. everyone joked bout it and even laughed..

i guessed Janet really knocked her head hard. she started to crap none stop.... i really wished she did not knock her head... haih... pity Christine... - Janet crapping none stop...

It really freaked out everyone that saw the tossing and falling part...

BroKE！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！

Well lets see.. why AVES is financially broke?

1. We did fund raising but its not enough

2. All of us need new uniform ( thanks to our current skirt design, we got major marks deduction during competition.)

3. Members who joined C3 need to come out with our own money for competition fees : Rm 60 per person, food, transportation. Imagine from Segi College Subang Jaya to Cinneleisure Damansara. Toll fees + petrol fees + cab fees.

4. Plan to get sponsorships but got rejected all the time ( reason : not famous & we don't sponsor cheerleaders)

5. All of us are students and we are broke.

Aves is seriously having financial problem.. anyone interested to donate??? We accept any kinds of donation even if its RM 1 .. better than nothing. the heart counts rite....??

C3 championship

Finally the dance routine is almost complete. How complete is it? Only the members know... C3 is only 2 weeks far and what does Aves have to go for it? With that little time, minimum commitment from team members, lack of experience and its their very first competition. Who are competing anyway? Aves send 8 members to compete and what are their aims in this competition. Well.. obviously every teams want to win but does this team really want to win? That's a question every member should ask themselves. Reality is it seams like winning was not the priority but its the experience that matters. Well, good luck squad and train well...
